Nolo: Curating the Body is a cross-cultural project between London, UK and Montreal, Quebec. It enquires into the scope of the word ‘curation’ and the implication this could have in the context of the body and choreography.

Six dance artists who influence The Uncollective as performers, makers, people, were invited to contribute to a new work by sharing their perspectives on 'curating the body'. It became a quest to develop a solo piece of performance where all six ideas could exist within one autonomous person. It is dealing with ethics surrounding authorship within the dancer/choreographer dynamic, methods of collaboration, the emotional labour of performing.

Concept/choreography: Eve Stainton, Michael Kitchin, Sorcha Stott-Strzala
Contributing dance artists:
(UK) Seke Chimutengwende, Florence Peake, Frauke Requardt
(Montreal) Katie Ward, Adam Kinner, Sasha Kleinplatz
With creative support from Henrietta Hale
Performer: Eve Stainton
